ESI WINS AGAIN IN HOUSTON WITH "BIG COOKIE"

Richmond, VA. — Edelmann Scott Inc. (ESI) joined the winner's circle again this year at the WorldFest-Houston International Film & Video Festival, but this time it wasn't for hardware it was for mayonnaise. Last year, ESI was awarded silver medals in both the 'campaign' and 'local spot' categories for a series of commercials created for Pleasants Hardware. This year, ESI's entry "Big Cookie," a television commercial featuring fiesty grandmothers making masterpiece meals using Duke's Mayonnaise, took home the silver award. Duke's Mayonnaise is a product of Richmond-based C.F. Sauer Co.

"Big Cookie" was one of 50 entries in the tv commercial/ PSA foods/ grocieries division. More than 4,300 category entries from 33 countries competed in the 33rd annual festival.

"We feel honored to have been selected from such a large grouping of entries and look forward to competing in WorldFest in the future," said Richard J. Scott, ESI president and chief executive officer.

WorldFest is one of the largest film festivals in the nation, continually striving to showcase the work of up and coming talent. In the past, the festival has recognized notable talents including the Coen brothers, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Oliver Stone, Robert Townsend and Peter Weir.

ESI's award winning spot television commmercial was the result of much hard work and MarketVision a process through which key customer insights are uncovered, and benefits are thoroughly tested and validated. MarketVision is a critical step in the planning and implementation of projects and is unique to ESI, one of Richmond's oldest independent full-service advertising, marketing and public relations agencies.
